The web's evolved — we've got AI art, self-driving cars… and email
that still thinks it's 2005. We're over it. No more table hell. No
more mystery bounces. Just modern email, built like it belongs in
2025.
Brightlight started as a side project in 2022 after one too many
rage-quits over broken email templates. We were tired of wrangling
tables, inline styles, and mystery bugs that only appeared in Outlook
2010.
But that was just the beginning.
The deeper we dug, the more we realized: the real nightmare wasn’t the
design — it was deliverability. Emails disappearing into spam folders like
they were never born? Not on our watch.
So in 2023, we launched Brightlight — a fully modern email delivery platform.
No duct tape. No black magic. Just clean APIs, fast delivery, and emails
that actually show up.
We're building Brightlight to make email feel less like a relic, and more
like the powerful tool it was always meant to be. Join us — it's about
to get good.
Meet the humans behind the madness
We’re a remote crew hell-bent on fixing email for developers — because
someone had to do it, and no one else was volunteering.
What Drives Us (Besides Caffeine)
These are the non-negotiables—the opinions we’ll die on a hill for.
They shape how we work, what we build, and when we say “nope.”
Default to action
Regardless of your role, we’re all makers. And makers don’t wait around for instructions. If something's broken, we fix it. If something’s unclear, we clarify. No committee meetings, just initiative. Pull requests over PowerPoints — every time.
No ego
You don’t need to be the smartest person in the Zoom call — just helpful. At Brightlight, asking for help is encouraged, not frowned upon. We're all here to build, not battle.
Keep shipping
We don’t worship pixel-perfection. We worship momentum. Ship fast, learn faster, and improve continuously. The best v1 is the one that’s out the door.
Do work that inspires
We don’t aim for “fine.” We aim for “damn, that’s cool.” Whether it’s code, design, or copy — details matter. Quality isn’t a bonus; it’s the baseline.
Bankrolled by the Brains Behind Your Favorite Apps
We're lucky (and smart) enough to have investors whose fingerprints
are all over the internet. Odds are, you're already using something
they helped fund — you're welcome.
